| Principal organisations, roles and responsibilities: |

Murray-Darling Basin Authority (MDBA) is responsible for planning integrated management of the water resources of the Murray–Darling Basin. MDBA coordinates funding and project direction for this initiative. |

NSW Office of Water within the Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water is responsible for the delivery of the program and ensures that water being used by the works is consistent with NSW legislation and policy. |

Forests NSW is responsible for managing the Koondrook-Perricoota Forest. Forests NSW is the Koondrook-Perricoota Icon Site Manager for The Living Murray program and is responsible for monitoring the proposed works during construction and operation. |

State Water Corporation is the organisation responsible for the detailed design and construction of the proposed works. Following commissioning of the scheme, State Water Corporation will also be responsible for the delivery of water and the operation maintenance of the structures. |

The Murray CMA provides technical and financial support to land managers and communities across the Murray catchment to balance natural resource protection with food and fibre production. |

The Joint Indigenous Group (JIG) is a specific group set up to represent the Aboriginal communities of the Koondrook-Perricoota area. It is made up of two representatives each from Barapa Barapa and Yorta Yorta Traditional Owners and the Moama and Deniliquin Local Aboriginal Land Councils. The representatives are either Elders of the Traditional Owner groups or Chairs/CEO’s of the Land Councils.
